Peter Johns, PE

Peter Johns, P.E. has more than 30 years of experience as a consulting engineer on municipal water and wastewater related projects, including treatment plants, pump stations and large pipeline construction. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Since he first began working for Wiedeman and Singleton in 1985, Mr. Johns’ focus has been environmental engineering for public utilities, managing water supply and wastewater infrastructure projects from their initial planning stages through start-up. Mr. Johns is also involved with the following:
- American Water Works Association (Chair of GA Section 2010 – 2011, and GAWWA Director 2015 – 2018)
- Georgia Association of Water Professionals (Current Board Member)
- Water Environmental Federation (Chair of Georgia Section 2005 – 2006).
