To help eliminate “binding” of existing 2-mm bar screens, located downstream of the Influent Pump Station, a new 9-mm bar screen was installed upstream of the Influent Pump Station. This allows the Influent Pump Station to handle a peak flow of 18.3 MGD. In addition to the new bar screens, a new dumpster structure with easy truck access was constructed to remove the bar screen debris.
