The City of Rock Hill, SC, is currently constructing an upgrade at the City of Rock Hill Water Treatment Plant and Raw Water Pump Station to increase the permitted capacity from 36 MGD (Million Gallons per Day) to 48 MGD. The work includes new sedimentation basins, filters, thickener, and a new sludge pump station. Modifications to the existing high service pump station and administration building and miscellaneous improvements at the plant itself are also underway. The raw water pump station is receiving a new chemical building and electrical building and modifications to the existing space.
