The Town of Williston completed system wide improvements to expand the capacity of their ground water system to comply with SCDHEC groundwater source capacity requirements through the installation of a new 750 gpm deep water production well (total 701’ depth, screened between 437’ and 697’) and the installation of approximately 11,300 linear feet of new 10” and 8” water mains. The new well replaced an existing well which had been running on an emergency basis with a temporary submersible pump. The project was funded in part through an EDA grant.
